COMMUNITY UPDATE

STS9 and the Conscious Alliance are proud to announce another tour of food drives and series of "Art That Feeds People." We will be collecting 10 non-perishable food items in exchange for a free STS9 poster at every show on the upcoming February tour. After a very successful fall tour we have decided to again release special editions during select runs of the tour!

The editions include: Northwest Run (Roman Villagrana), Northern California (Kathleen Hart), and Boulder Theatre (Joy Engine, 5-Panel). The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health food oriented products. "Organic" food donations are especially encouraged. All food donations will benefit local America's 2nd Harvest Food Share Affiliates.

SPEAKING OF ART: We are excited to announce that long-time STS9 collaborator Kris Davidson has begun to release a series of limited edition prints from his STS9 live show paintings. The first installment, nearly sold out already, includes three prints (one from each show) painted live over New Years 2006.07 in Atlanta. All are archive quality giclee prints on somerset velvet paper. Each print is singed and numbered (#1 - #20) by Kris D. himself. We don't expect these to last much longer.

GET YOURS TODAY and look at for more from Kris D and STS9!

lotus--um, Boulder is the center of the jamband universe, there are more shows and fans here than anywhere else, including big cities like NYC and SF....Not to mention that Denver is 25 minutes away and they have plenty of shows of their own.
come check it out and you'll see why they sold out so quickly.....about 3 months ago!

BOULDER RULES

With all due respect marcsmall1 Boulder does not have more shows then NYC or SF. I do agree it is an amazing scene but I have crunched the numbers (fans/shows) online so many times in 2 years to figure out where to head to bring my own career up ..from stinky Indiana. New York has way more shows then the state of Colorado combined. San Francisco and Denver/Boulder are very comparable but San Francisco has a very slightly bigger scene. I was considering Asheville, Portland, Denver and SF. SF is too spendy and Portland is great but not enough breakout artists and not enough hustle and bustle for me. Asheville is for a later more relaxed life ..retirement. So I am moving to Denver and just thought you could appreciate the knowledge since I obviously love the city enough to move there. Peace and love everyone....

they are just too damn good to be playing the soul kitchen in mobile. its too small, and there are at least two venues that would better suit them. i will be there w/ bells on, along w/ some clothes that i dont care about getting covered in slime.

Boulder vs. NYC.....who cares? Just be thankful if you live anywhere but Phoenix, AZ. With a large metro population and ASU being the largest university in the US by enrollment, we rarely receive any love from jambands.

High School Musical rolled through town recently... which made the 5-13 demographic very happy.

O YEAH!! I am ready to get digital in STL and C-MO. STS9 in the past 2 years, has progressed musically and did enough exploration to find the perfect chemistry that they need to sound amazing. The music is beautiful and very inspirational. The kids are amazing and fun to be around and I can't wait for this tour, especialy 4/20 show in STL.

AZ is a heavily conservative state, with no love for people who like to get spun and stoned....They'll put your ass in a tent city with pink socks and underwear for a ounce of weed.

I've since fallen off the Particle bandwagon (refering to my handle), but I have to say that the Alabama Theater is the worst possible venue for a STS9 show... They should be playing at BaseCamp, Workplay, or my backyard. The 'Theater' is trying hard, but who wants assigned seating to a funknasty show???

STS9 always shows love for Tennessee, but i've never seen them. don't really care for thier kind of music. i'm more of a all natural kinda guy, but hey i may have to give it a second chance and return some of that love when they come to the Music City. i think City Hall would be a kick butt place for them to play, lots of room to get yo freakn'jam on!
