JAM CRUISE/JAMCAM DVD

JamCam Season Three IS ON and will be kicking off with a Jam Cruise 5 DOUBLE DVD special edition!

JamCam Chronicles Director Tom Ledermann has had his sights set on Jam Cruise since the popular festival-focused DVD series shot its first event almost three years ago. "Jam Cruise and JamCam Chronicles are arguably THE two most unique entities our scene has to offer" says Ledermann "and it was really only a matter of time before we got together. This truly is a marriage made in hippie-heaven."

The Jammy award nominated Director also points out that Jam Cruise will mark JamCam's first double DVD effort since JamCam's inception. "Our second season offerings have been averaging more than two-and-a-half hours each, but this one's gonna be a monster! If any event is worthy of the double DVD treatment, it's got to be Jam Cruise."

As always, Ledermann and his staff will be looking for enthusiastic volunteers to "host" the show, so interested "cruisers" are being asked to be on the lookout for the JamCam crew (they're the guys with the video cameras and the JamCam T-shirts) and to speak up!

JamCam will be announcing the roster for the Jam Cruise 5 edition in the weeks to come, and while the official release date for the DVD has yet to be determined (late spring is the goal) all Jam Cruise edition and Season Three pre-orders taken between December 1st and 15th will be sent a FREE 2005 Jerry Garcia B'Day Bash DVD (w/RatDog, The Codetalkers, Ekoostik Hookah, The David Nelson Band and more!) just in time to stuff the stocking and hold over the wait.

JamCam Chronicles DVDs can be ordered individually, or at a heavily discounted subscription rate online at the JamCam Chronicles website or toll-free at (877) JamCam1.

Enjoy these full-length performance clips from JamCam Season Two:

JamCam is great, every time I see them, I'm happy someone's capturing the grooves and crowd energy of the event.

Talk is cheap... Nothing against JamCam, but the Jam Cruise people have tried filming before and they ended up screwing everyone in the long run. I preordered a DVD on Jam Cruise 3 and never got the DVD. For almost an entire year they would send out emails telling people to be patient. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally in December of the next year, the Jam Cruise people call and say that they are not going to release the DVD they had promised. Jam Cruise is an awesome experience and needs to be captured on film... hope they don't pull the same crap this time around!

Talk is cheap? Hey Jambase talks alot about Jamcam and supports the hell out of Toms' project, and it's nice to see one genre in the music scene stick together. Articles like this can make or break a project. (shoulda named it JAM base JAMMING with JAM cam at JAM cruise JAMMY JAM JAM JAM :) )

Hey Tom, it's nice to see the interview with Bobby from that summer make it's way to the surface ... have fun on the cruise, it's always a good time!

Thanks for your support, garbaz, and while I understand your concern, peaceinky, I can only tell you that our reputation for putting out product speaks for itself (11 for 11 with another coming in 2 weeks) and this one'll be no different. Have faith, my friend, and I hope to have the opportunity to shake your hand on the boat.

I agree with peaceinky; talk IS cheap. I ALSO was on Jam Cruise 3 and purposely DIDN'T film it myself because we were all promised the great Jam Cruise 3 DVD. I mean hell, we saw them filming the WHOLE time! Where is this footage now? Erased? I seriously doubt that! My credit card was never charged, but I didn't even get a "lousy T-shirt" from this Jam Cruise!

Likely the reason they couldn't release it is because this was just as much a "dope" cruise as it was a Jam Cruise! I guess some of the artists didn't want to be seen "promoting" drug use among their fans. Really, they weren't promoting it, but there were sure a lot of joints being passed around in the audience the entire time. I still would have liked my DVD...I don't even have any pictures!
