Backyard Tire Fire |
On the heels of their recent EP release, Skin and Bones (o.i.e. Records), Backyard Tire Fire is back touring the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast through the remainder of 2006. The band will be supporting Will Hoge on 13 dates, North Mississippi AllStars on three dates and headlining a handful of others. December 16th will mark their first annual Backyard Tire Fire and Friends Holiday Jamboree, held in their hometown of Bloomington, IL. All proceeds from the event will be donated to local woman's shelter Safe Haven.
The Skin and Bones EP has created a buzz among indie bloggers receiving accolades from Earvolution, Macktronic, Muzzle of Bees, KyndMusic, Twangnation, Live Music Blog and others. Real Networks' Rhapsody had this to say:
