Rose Hill Drive
"They bring so much raw power to the stage that it is hard to remember that they are still a young band that has so much creative evolution ahead of them. With hair flying and the volume turned up to 11, their live show is not to be missed." -- Pete Townshend of The Who (on his show "In The Attic")

New York NY -- August 25, 2006 -- Rose Hill Drive have announced a fall tour that will see them traveling around the world in support of their debut studio album. The band recently sold out the Fox Theatre in Boulder in celebration of their album release.

After spending the last couple years building an enormous underground buzz with thrilling live shows, the Boulder-based trio released their self-titled debut on August 22, 2006 via Megaforce Records/Sci Fidelity.

Rose Hill Drive's accomplishments in the music world are as stellar and intense as the performances. Critics and musicians from all walks of life praise this band. Rose Hill Drive have done dates with Robert Randolph, Wilco, Queens Of The Stone Age, and also performed at Bonnaroo, Red Rocks, Austin City Limits, and the Warped Tour. Even Van Halen requested Rose Hill Drive to open for them. In 2006, the band played the same stage as The Who at the Wireless Festival on June 25 in Leeds, UK and also the Hyde Park Calling Festival on July 2nd in London. The Who's Pete Townshend was so enamored with the band, he had them appear not once, but twice on his show, "In The Attic."

Combining rock with modern touches and clever arrangements, Rose Hill Drive dare to be different.

I saw RHD here in Fort Collins once outside. The melted faces. I mean seriously, they melted right off, it was gross. And I couldn't hear anything for about a day.

I am giving this story 1 star for the reason that they are not coming out to LA or anywhere in SoCal or NorCal. Unfair that I might have to drive to Colorado. :)

go to and then to the audio/video section for rose hill's interview w/ townshend on "in the attic." you'll be grinning ear to ear watching pete and his quirky sidekicks chat it up with the sproul brothers and mr. barnes. oh, and watch all 6 parts because it just gets better as it moves along. lots of love from mpls. we'll catch ya in the spring or summer for sure, but ia city is calling our names.

I saw them at Cafe DuNord and really don't get what the fuss is all about. Fast, heavy, loud and rather simple rock. Nothing mind blowing or face melting to these ears. Many of the songs sounded the same. That said, I'd never seen them before or really gave their stuff a good leisten but went to the show on a recommendation from a friend. Nonetheless good to see they have support b/c these guys definitely seemed like very dedicated and hard working musicians. Just my two cents.

I was at the CD Release in Boulder and DAMN! I confess: I might have made a Hanson crack when I first saw them, but bit my tongue shortly afterward. Cause they can lay it down. Even with the long flowing locks.
