ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra) will take their Southern California soul and funky grooves on the road for FOUR International dates. Bouncing between Portugal, Holland and England, and joining line ups that include Zero 7 and Starsailor, ALO packs their positive party music and brings it with them wherever they go.
ALO wowed sold out crowds as openers for Dave Matthews Band on the East Coast this summer and were the band to see at festivals throughout the US, sharing bills with the likes of Trey Anastasio, My Morning Jacket and The Flaming Lips.
The Southern California-based musical collective plays an upbeat, groove-laden mix of funk, soul, jazz and surf music. Their high-profile fans range from James Brown to Toots and the Maytals, which just hints at their wide appeal! ALO's latest CD Fly Between Falls is out now on Brushfire Records and their first single, "Girl, I Wanna Lay You Down" features their labelmate Jack Johnson. Their live shows are action-packed, high-energy displays of excellent musicianship. Check them out!
