Come join us in celebrating the release of Phish Live In Brooklyn (in stores July 11th) with a world premiere screening on Sunday, July 9th at 8:15PM at Burlington, VT's beautiful Waterfront Park. The event is free and will benefit Burlington City Arts. Magic Hat Brewery will provide a Beer Garden and Ben & Jerry's will be dishing out free Phish Food Ice Cream scoops. This is an all ages, rain-or-shine event. Commemorative posters to benefit City Arts will be available.

Live In Brooklyn was filmed June 17, 2004 at the band's opening night performance at Keyspan Park on Coney Island. The concert footage has not been shown since that night, when 16,000 Phish fans in the sold-out baseball park danced in the rain and 30,000 fans watched the original live simulcast in movie theatres across the country. For this World Premiere Screening, Live In Brooklyn will be shown on a 2-story inflatable screen in full concert quality sound. This promises to be an exciting way to relive the magic that took place on Coney Island in a picturesque, outdoor setting overlooking Lake Champlain. Pack up your favorite blanket and bug spray!

To celebrate the release of the brand new 2-DVD and 3-CD set, Live In Brooklyn, Phish is thrilled to present to fans a very special, one-night-only Big Screen Concerts screening of their entire June 17, 2004 show. Live In Brooklyn will be shown in High-Definition at 99 participating Regal, United Artists, Edwards, AMC and Georgia Theatre Company movie theatres nationwide on Monday, July 10th.

Tickets are $12.50 in advance and are on sale now at as well as individual box offices (there is no service charge when purchased at the box office). This is an all ages event.

Phish was amazingly solid from 1990-1998 as Trey himself admits that things got way sloppier with his lack of efforts from 1999 on. And there were still some shows that were good in 99-00 and the festivals were good too. But anyone that thinks this show was good was either there and basking in the environment, on drugs at the theater or just had low expectiations. I think it is sad that people will happily buy this becuase I went to the original simulcast in Indianapolis, IN and this show was horrible. What ever happened to CLifford Ball, LEmonwheel, Great Went... some magical Deer Creek performances(96-98!!!). Or many of the other shows they have released on Phish Live. But releaseing this. Kids who I grew up going to shows with know better. I mean....I think the new G.R.A.B. stuff is awesome. It's raw and better then anything phish has played since 98. Just don't understand this sub par release

The show last night in Raleigh was sick. They sounded awsome and it was nice to see them from the 6th row.

6-17-04 has to be one of the worst Phish shows ever. I am not big on leaving negative feedback, but come on! Trey cant even remember the lyrics to down with disease! Listen! Nobodys perfect but Phish was close, and this release is an obvious mistake. The fans Know.

I wanted to love this new material, but Saturday night - a lifeless cover of GET BACK and Trey apologizing for essentially practicing his new tunes in front of us. The guys I drove with wanted to leave early - maybe it got better? I can't say.

I'm so pissed off with the new GRAB tour. I've seen every show, and they've played the same setlist every damn night. I'm a huge Phish phan, and this has been a waste of time. Phil & Friends has been amazing! Trey has sounded great playing nightly with Phil as well. Why are they playing the same (mostly Trey songs) every darn night???

10,000 lakes fest to rock. Wish I could attend, but have to bail out. Have a LAKE SALLIE car pass and two music and camping tickets to get rid of. Will sell at cost as a set only.

i watched live in brooklyn 06-17-04 on the big screen when they broadcast it live in theatres.. setlist was decent.. the music seemed to be lacking though. jams went nowhere. don't know if the weather got to them or what, but it seemed like they kept getting pulled into the same jam.. nothing spectacular in this show in terms of classic phish.. but a bad phish show is better than a lot of bands on a good night.. so they get a 3 from me.. but i'm not buying the dvd, and definitely not buying the cds.. i'm sure they have better shows in their archive to release.. take a listen before you buy it. that's all i'm sayin.. peace and love.

gonephishin2 knows the truth! the last phish tour that really got me was spring 93. aru sit ins, 'ravishing rick rude harpua', THE UNH FEILD HOUSE! THE NEW PIANO! i guess i saw some cool stuff after but that was the climax of my interest. i still need to check out some tapes of the later 90s space funk improv stuff. that is one thing we got less of in the time i saw them the most.

EVILFUNK i highly suggest 12.31.93, this absolutely melts my brain away when i listen to it. without questions one of the most flawless most outrageously rockin shows i have ever listened to. just non-stop rockin in every aspect one could imagine. my friends and i refer to trey's style during this show as "machine-gun" trey. he rips. Id say of my favorite renditions of certain songs all of them fall in this show. Reba, SOAM, YEM, Hood, Disease Jam (first ever, only jam is played), Possum, Tweezer, you name it they played it and it rocked. Definitely go check it out. get back to me

Phish Fall tour good.... I miss the phish phunk. But i was glad to be in college in 1997 and 1998 my favorite shows i have ever attented where phish shows from this period. Highlights the april nassau colisuem shows, albany shows from 97 and 98. Man i miss those guys

oh those coney island shows were painful cant agree more. I remeber trey messing lyrics and flubbing notes and chords. No real exciting jams to talk about. BRING BACK THE PHUNK BOYS.

Some of these comments are, braugh...they didn't even PLAY Down With Disease, so how could Trey "botch the lyrics?"

A lot of these comments are true - yes, by in large their best playing was from 93-00. For the record though, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the performance in Brooklyn. If you didn't like the Moma-> Free and the 46 Days > Possum, you should check for a pulse.

Trey certainly made his fair share of miscues, but these were minimized on the DVD by the camera focusing on someone else.

They did play DWD, i think it was just before Gay-Z came out, i dont think it is on the DVD though.

yeah they def played DWD,it was just the second night not the first night on the DVD. also, to say that they entire two days was completely crappy is a little bit harsh, considering there was a nasty extended Suzy jam, something around 20 mins or so. that was pretty wild
