Dark Star Orchestra
Nugroove Production's annual Nugroove Music Festival strives to out do itself on a yearly basis, but 2006 promises to be the biggest year yet. This summer's Nugroove Festival '06 is the must attend outdoor music event in the North East.

Nugroove 2006, Friday July 28th to Sunday July 30th, will be held at Skyetop Festival Grounds in Van Etten, NY; just 30 minutes from Ithaca. Nugroove has prepared a dynamic lineup of over jam and rock bands, some up and comers and some well established favorites. Nugroove's 2006 lineup includes: Dark Star Orchestra (for 2 nights), Particle, Conspirator (featuring The Disco Biscuits stars Aaron Magner & Marc 'Brownie' Brownstein), The Pnuma Trio, Scarecrow Collection, RAQ, Brothers Past, The Breakfast, U-Melt, Sage, Unexplained Bacon, Revision, Dyer Weed, Dave Cahill, and many more.

Nugroove Productions is a young but fast growing company with a prove track record of providing the best music for the best prices. The company's inaugural festival in 2004 was a great success though little more then word of mouth, grass roots advertising. In 2005, Nugroove was able to expand exponentially and book larger bands and better venues, and had more then doubled expected attendance goals. This year's show stands to make both pale in comparison.

Nugroove Productions is now promoting its 3rd annual summer music festival. Nugroove 2006 is a 3-day immersive outdoor concert-going experience that attempts to redefine what the summer music festival has always been. As Nugroove prepares for its 3rd year of success and music in 2006, we greatly appreciate your support and welcome you to come out to the Show. Nugroove Productions staff are available for interviews.

Early bird passes $60; Advanced tickets are $75 and $90 at the door. For reserved tickets and further information go to Early bird price will go up to advance ticket price with no notice once allotment is sold out.

I think DSO is out of place headling this festival. But that doesn't bother me one bit; I love DSO and I think it'll be a breathe of fresh air after a day of seriously hard rocking. We'll get 2-4 hours of grateful dead to soothe ourselves and then get right back into the head spnning. See you there. Oh, I wish I could trade particle for STS9. Or particle for just about anything else.

particle sucks. im sick of hearing 30 min songs. songs she be no longer than 15 min. no electronic bands should have a song longer than that. you should be able to take care of what you need to in 15 rather than 30. anyways particle isn't that great of a band anyways. peace

band names have hit an all time low... Quagmire Swin Team and now Unexplained Bacon. I reccomend you change it guys; it sounds like a high school band.

To "simone420"- Are you an organizer? Did you plant your advertisement here...subversive like? C'mon. DSO and Particle. I could see going as a local just to hang out, but to travel for that lineup...please.

no hate for the bands. But a name can help sell a show. I don't eat meat, you think i'm going to see unexplained bacon. WTF is in that sh*t?
Wait wait, I did hate on particle. respect that

i'm right with gfunkin - the location is my main reason for wanting to go to this festival. and dso headlining is a fabulous idea, they play 2 sets the last nite of all good every year as far as i've heard (only experienced it once). i'm traveling about 2hrs, i dunno if anyone is going to be coming from far away for a smaller festival, but for $75, how can you complain? it's 3 days of entertainment, and i'm coming for the bands i like, and then i'll see some new bands i've never heard of. i cant wait.
