The 1st Annual Conscious Vibes Benefit is a means to promote progressive awareness from topics ranging from the war on Iraq to Hurricane Katrina assistance by way of music and the presence of non-profit organizations. The Neighborhood Theatre will host a number of musical and spoken word artists.

Performing artists will be the electronica funk and soul of the fast-rising Pnuma Trio, Detroit's own funksters Bump and Sam Holt's Outformation, as well as Gruvtu, The Humans, Incognito Mosquito and Eyes of the Elders.

Representatives from Conscious Alliance, Clean Vibes, and an array of other organizations will also be on hand while door proceeds are going to Rock the Earth, The Red Cross and Save The Children.

The 1st Annual Conscious Vibes Benefit will take place on Saturday, May 13th at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC.

Bump was by far the best show I saw there but Pnuma had a great light show.
