Terrapin Beer and Igor Management Present:
A benefit for Earth First!
Featuring SeepeopleS, Infradig and special guests!
Saturday May 20 @ The Grey Eagle
185 Clingman Ave, Asheville
All Ages, 8pm, $10
Terrapin Beer, along with Asheville's own Harvest Records and Ragtime Vintage Clothing present a very special benefit for the Southern Appalachian arm of Earth First!, with performances by Asheville's own psychedelic pop outfit SeepeopleS, along with the industrial funk of Infradig and special guests. The evening will also include an information fair in the Grey Eagle's lovely outdoor courtyard, as well as a multimedia presentation of Earth First!'s work, and Terrapin Beer specials throughout the evening. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Katuah Earth First!
For 15 years Katuah Earth First! (KEF!) has been working to defend the mountains and people of Southern Appalachia from some of the worst environmental abuses in the country. Using both direct action and community education, KEF! takes on a variety of issues throughout the Southern Appalachian bioregion including fighting senseless logging and illegal road building, taking on the growth of chip mills in our region and anti-mountain top removal work.
All of the event's sponsors, performers and promoters are residents of the region that KEF! works to protect, and we are especially excited to be offering an opportunity for education along with the evening's fundraising—attendees are encouraged to stop by early for a bite to eat at the Grey Eagle's Twin Cousins restaurant and meet with Earth First! members to learn more about what the organization does and how we can get involved.

About SeepeopleS (www.seepeoples.com):
Based in Asheville, NC, SeepeopleS are a four-piece psychedelic pop/rock band whose sound has been described as "Ween meets Wilco with a dash of Yo La Tengo" (Seven Days). With a penchant for political lyrics and catchy sing-along hooks, SeepeopleS offer an edgy and explosive live experience.
About Infradig (www.infradig.net):
Drawing influence from jazz, hip-hop, Zappa and everything in between, Chattanooga-based Infradig carves out a live sound that is danceable, intelligent, and occasionally challenging. Certainly "on the rise," catch Infradig at this summer's Bonnaroo and Smilefest festivals.
