I can't go to big festivals anymore, the line-ups are amazing. But what does that mean if you can't see all the music you want to. I kicked myself in the ass for missing superjam at the first bonnaroo to see Phil and Bobby. And have been pissed about double bookings ever since.

Waka is going to be amazing this year! I agree though, a little cheese goes a long way, and I've been itching to see them!!!! I must also agree that responsibility sucks! it is forcing me to sell my Waka ticket!!! I hope you all party your asses off for me!

Buckethead>Les Claypool nice. And the sci sides are nice. Zilla's dope, and Remarkable Elba Kramer is really an amazing funk band. Don't hate, there will always be enough Cheese to go with your whine. :)

Hey cash4dahash,,,SCI's lack of concerts this year seems to be part of plan to scale back a bit (or a lot) this year,,,something I first heard about at '05 Langerado. They've been road warriors for many years now and maybe feel the need to cut back and stretch out with other projects. Better doing it this way than by saying "that's it,,,we're done" and painting yourself into that corner, a lá Phish.

I'm going, but my question is where is claypools bucket of bernie brains. I'm pumped that bernie is playing 2 sets, but where is c2b3? I guess claypool's band hasn't been announced so it could be that but this situation must be clarified.

I still think there is an outside chance that the full SCI will be added to Waka. One reason, on the waka website when it shows all the big bands photos accross the top in a flash format, Cheese is the only band on there that doesn't have their name under the photo. Another reason; they aren't playing anywhere else. The final reason is that it's a straight shot accross I-70 from Boulder. I'm not banking on it, it will be a great fest regardless, but I'm definitely keepin' my fingers crossed!

This is it. Wait for all year, the line-up has the Acoustic Planet Tour. The only festival to book the bands together n watch for the jam of the weekend in between yonder n flecktons. The buckethead with les should also be good. Its all about new music with people playing together for the first time. Don't miss out on the best fest.
