Hell yeah! Now they need to announce that they are playing Lollapalooza. That way it gives me even more reason to spend a week traveling back from the red rocks ween show and hit chicago on some sort of convoluted route back to SC.

Finally! I never got to see these guys. I think Mellon Collie did us all some good. I just hope that the new stuff sounds nothing like what Billy was trying to do on his own. If Billy can pull his head out of his ass, so can Trey...hint hint

this is the second time jambase has reported info on the pumpkins incorrectly. i hope they state WHO has stated that the band will be back together, and what band members have agreed.

only thing I can say about this band is thanks for the over hyped and crappy tunes that allowed me to discover a whole world of music. Maybe thell have anew video on mtv or vh1 make some noise and join the rest of the artsy fartsy acts at bonnaroo next year, O BOY

Just out of curiosity "TheMoonDogg" - if the band is "over hyped and crappy" how did it allow you "to discover a whole world of music"? Kinda like an oxymoron eh?

For anyone who may agree, just listen to Siamese Dream and Gish, most of the "indie" bands out there are still trying to replicate the sound... The Pumpkins made some damn fine albums, and i still listen to Siamese Dream regularly.

I've been waiting long and patient and hopeful for this day to come. I admit it, I like Billy Corgan, even when that group Zwan was kicking some ass. And I too listen to Siamese, Gish, and Mellon Collie quite frequently. The Pumpkins are a band that could survive in any decade. They have the sound that is unique to them only. That is why no band could or will ever "duplicate" their sound.

Man it aint gonna be the same without Darcy and James Iha. Billy reunite with your friends! Listen to me man.

Wont be the same without all the original members.
I liked alot of adore though and it didnt have jimmy on it, so we'll see I guess...
