(San Francisco, CA – February 14, 2006) – It has been six years since quintessential San Francisco Bay Area Rock band ZERO has played together, and on March 9, they will kick off a trio of reunion shows at Denver's Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom.
Fans of ZERO will have the chance to get a taste of this powerful group's eclectic jam/rock/jazz/improvisational music from their hit album Chance in a Million to a substantial catalog of coveted classics. The "Chance in a Million" band includes: Steve Kimock (guitar), Greg Anton (drums), Martin Fierro (sax), Liam Hanrahan (bass), Pete Sears (keyboards), Judge Murphy (vocals).
Joining ZERO for this long anticipated event will be a host of special guests including 16-year-old drummer John Morgan Kimock, and vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux-Mackay. Donna Jean has a long history with both Steve Kimock and Greg Anton going back to the Heart of Gold Band in the early eighties.
"ZERO consciousness returns with props for the audience, respect for the lineage, and love for our brothers and sisters," says Steve Kimock. "Dust off those rusty strings just one more time, relax, participate, enjoy, and in the words of the late great guitarist and Zero band member John Cipollina, 'thanks for letting us pee in your pool.' "
Tickets are $25 and are available at www.cervantes.baselineticketing.com and www.kimock.com. The show is 21 and over.
