Weak compared to last year. Still the best festival. I hope they dont change it all that much, because it really worked.

Green Lemon has got to be there. They absolutely tore it down last year with two seperate shows. ALO and Robert Bradley were perfect too. See you there!

Wakarusa needs to add The Balance - They'll rock the shit out of anyone who catches their set.

good initial line-up but def. weak compared to last yr. this festival needs a big headliner like cheese, umph, bisco, crowes, mule, etc....they should just book all of them to be safe

if claypool ends up in the wakarusa neighborhood, a c2b3 set would be the heat. this lineup is already lookin' groovy. gomez, tim reynolds, and andrew bird are three artists who channel a lot of truth and good vibes but are not typically considered "jam bands". i for one, am pleased with the diversity of the lineup. ddbb will blast the stagnant collective ego of the masses with their humble nawluns brass. it'll be good.

Waka Waka. They are capping attendence at 15K this year. Last year they added a lot of bands including a few of the big headliners after the initial lineup announcement. It's all marketing. They know who is going to play for the most part. Keep the additinons coming every 3-4 weeks and it's an excuse for more press releases.

I'd buy your tickets now. Well worth the early bird special.

line-up looks good so far. Would love it if the John Butler Trio could make it again this year. Needs a bigger headliner like Trey, Panic, Ratdog, or Cheese. But you can't go wrong with tea leaf, yonder, keller, and new moonson. I talked to Brendon from UM and it sounds like they might play.

i agree...maybe a couple more "headliners" would be nice...not taking away from RRB though...still a ways a way though and great lineup so far...cross canadian ragweed huh..

Hopefully HMHR wins the Fort Collins Battlerusa for a shot to play at Wakarusa. They blew it up at 10KLF last summer, and can expect the same here.

The best festival I have been to. They keep porta potties clean everyday, recycling group is good, great line up. Bring on some Panic though.

I actually think it's a relief that this festival hasn't accrued anymore "headliners" as of yet. The draw becomes too big sometimes and unpleasant.. Let them have Bonnaroo (and a few others not to mention). Although, the ones that are on there are rising fast enough.

I actually agree w/ shannonshinn - I like it that there aren't any huge bands here. That way the place isn't so much of a clusterfuck. 20,000 is a good # of people - Wakarusa should try to keep it like that.

Oh yeah, and The Balance is going to win the Battlerusa in Omaha, so everyone should be ready to check them out at Wakarusa. The Balance is posed to explode onto the scene.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH. Bernie(the living god)Worrell, Greyboy Allstars, and Dirty Dozen. Sounds like we's gettin' funktified. They need to get The Brothers Groove (from Detroit) to play, that would top off the swank factor. Peace Love and Funk yall.

Tim Reynolds and Robert Randolph would mix very well. Hoping to see them together in KS. Both of these guys with Cheese would be great. It is a little early to post a lineup, though.

This lineup is terrible. I was at last years and last years was so much better. i am going to have to pass this one this summer. i am sure that the whole festival experiance will be awesome. but they need to add a couple more big bands.

The person below me has no idea what they are talking about, this is the best lineup yet...and there's still five more months of artist additions to go! In fact they just added The Duo, ALO, Cracker, Donna the Buffalo, Jake Shimabukuro (the crazy guy on the uke) and some others as well. This is definitely going to be the festival of the summer.
