As the full moon was lighting up the sky, and Club Fais Do Do was filling up quickly for Particle and Project Logic, there was definitely a feeling of electrified anticipation in the air.

Particle took the stage for their second Los Angeles gig, and the crowd immediately began to get their groove on. Bassist, Eric Gould slapped down some CLASSIC funk, to be matched by the wizardry of Steven Mulletz’s keys, Darren Pujalet’s “drop the hammer” beats, and Dave Simmon’s panoramic magic on the guitar. The sound of 70’s electric piano and 80’s synthesizer meshed with 90’s techno beats, created an addictive sound that not only got the toes tapping, but REALLY got people moving.

Particle’s energy was over the top throughout the entire show. Their next level jams methodically intensified. As their sustained jamming worked the crowd into a frenzied mob, the show finally culminated in a highly charged Pipe Dream to close the set.
