Many of the musicians at the Vegoose Festival held over Halloween weekend in Las Vegas, NV signed a new sage green, metallic Fender Stratocaster guitar to be auctioned at the Save the Spirit of New Orleans fundraiser in Naples, Florida on November 20, 2005. Matt Allen, the Ice Cream Man and Tipitina's photographer Pat Kauchick obtained the signatures of Dave Matthews; Trey Anastasio; Joan Osborne; Jack Johnson; Les Claypool (Primus); Dave Schools (Widespread Panic); Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers, the Dead); Andy Hess (Gov't Mule); Luther and Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars); Michael Franti (Spearhead); Chief Xcel (Blackalicious); Tony Hall (Dave Matthews and Friends); DJ Logic; Britt Daniels (Spoon); Regine (Arcade Fire); Nick Diamonds, J'Aime Tambeur (Islands); Evan Walker, Matthias Gruber and Scott Ranniar of Steel Train.

There are two other guitars to be auctioned at the event. A new arctic white Fender Telecaster was signed by all four original members of the legendary New Orleans funk group, The Meters. At another event, New Orleans guitarist John Mooney signed a new light blue Fender Stratocaster. In addition, a limited edition poster signed by California illustrator Paul Rogers who designed the 2002 and 2004 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival posters, and New Orleans musician Kermit Ruffin will be sold at the event.
