Join the Rex Foundation at two exceptional upcoming events--the Black Tie-Dye Balls, Celebrating the magical combination of music, community, creativity and joyful spirit. Proceeds support local non-profit programs.

On Saturday, November 12th, the Ball will feature New York's own quintessential jam masters, The Zen Tricksters, and will take place in the Concert Hall of the New York Society for Ethical Culture on 64th Street in Manhattan. The Tricksters special guests will include Donna Jean Godchaux-McKay, Tom Constanten, David Nelson, Rob Barraco (Phil & Friends, The Dragonflys, former Zen Tricksters member), Greg Anton (Zero, Heart of Gold Band), Michael Falzarano of Hot Tuna, and Wendy Lanter (Hope in Time). Mickey Hart will attend the Pre-Concert Reception.

On December 3rd, the second Tie-Dye Ball will be held at The 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. and will feature Dark Star Orchestra. This event will celebrate the life and music of the late Scott Larned, DSO co-founder and keyboardist, recently and tragically deceased. Concert-only tickets are $25 and available at and "Sparkling" ($150) and "Effervescent" ($500 and include special concert seating and post-concert reception at the Old Ebbitt Grill) tickets are available on the Rex Foundation web site.
