It's hard to believe that five years have passed by so quickly, but Particle is ready to celebrate another milestone in their career. On October 8 they will throw down again in style for another anniversary show at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. In the five years Particle has been a band they have traveled to Japan, Europe, crossed the U.S. countless times and have racked up a total of nearly 700 shows. While the band has earned their road warrior status, nothing is better than coming home.

This fall on their six week CaliLicious tour Particle treated audiences to brand new covers by California artists. Some of the covers included Beck's "E-Pro," the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Suck My Kiss," "Break on Through" by The Doors, and "Keepers" by Merl Saunders/Jerry Garcia Band. Also coming back into the rotation was Guns 'N' Roses' "Paradise City," which hadn't been played for over three years. In Philadelphia they were joined by special guest G Love who sang TuPac's "California Love" with the band.

Particle anniversary parties are always known for big special surprises. For the band's two year show they were joined by Robby Krieger from The Doors and during the four year party the band was backed by a five piece gospel choir for an extended funk medley. This year, expect even more surprises and treats. And be sure to get there early to check out the super hot ALO, fresh from a successful nation-wide tour with their good friend Jack Johnson.
