The Everyone Orchestra will converge at 12 Galaxies on Sunday, Sept. 25 to raise funds and awareness for Hurricane Katrina relief. This special one-off performance will unite musicians from the Bay Area, New Orleans and Rocky Mountains for a celebration of music and community. All net proceeds will be donated to the High Sierra Foundation which has established a special fund to give direct aid to musicians and the music community affected by Hurricane Katrina. In Ticketing will make an additional donation from all service fees.

The performance will be recorded on CD by Bay Recorders Organization and available for purchase after the show. Donations of $25 include a copy of the CD or the commemorative poster by artist Scott Johnson, and a $50 donation includes a CD, signed poster and dinner hosted by Cajun Pacific. A silent auction will also be held with items including tickets to the High Sierra Music Festival, 12 Galaxies and the Xingolati Cruise, artist CDs and High Sierra FestivaLive CDs, clothing donated by Vintage Vantage and Inner Waves Yoga, and more.

The Everyone Orchestra Pangaea Project Benefit
May 1, 2004 :: Live painting by Joel Barber
Founded by drummer Matt Butler, The Everyone Orchestra is a revolving cast of stellar musicians who come together to perform and raise funds and awareness for non-profit organizations. Everyone Orchestra performances culminate in conducted improvisations in which the entire orchestra is on stage together, following the conductor's directions on giant placards, with hand signals and body movements. The mystery of the unknown – including surprise guests and participation from the audience – keeps the musicians on their toes, making for one-of-a-kind magical musical moments.

The Everyone Orchestra 9/25/05 is:
Matt Butler (TEO founder, Jambay)
Bill Nershi (The String Cheese Incident)
Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident)
Mike Sugar (Jambay)
Chris Haugen (Jambay, Axis Bothers)

Steve Adams (ALO)
Zac Matthews (Hot Buttered Rum String Band)
