RAQ, the electrifying rock quartet from Burlington, Vermont will embark on an eight week tour starting in September. The tour will take the band from the Iron Horse Music Hall on September 14th in Northampton, MA to Schuba's in Chicago for a two-night stand on September 30th and October 1st, to the Trilogy in Boulder Colorado, down through the southern states in mid-October and back through the northeast, ending in their hometown of Burlington, Vermont at Higher Ground on October 29th.

Since forming in 2001, RAQ has grown quickly into a "must see" at the largest music festivals in the county including Bonnaroo Music Festival, moe.down, High Sierra Music Festival, Langerado Music Festival, Berkshire Music Festival, Summer Camp, and Gathering of the Vibes. In their most recent tours, RAQ has played at prestigious venues such as the Great American Music Hall, The Whiskey A Go-Go, The Fox Theater in Boulder, CO. and the famed BB Kings in NYC.

Described as "aggressive improvisational rock" RAQ's music is full of precise hooks and floating improvisation. Relix Magazine says, "RAQ has the ability to capture an audience, dropping jaws with hyperkinetic improvisational splendor."
