Robert Walter's 20th Congress will be bringing in the New Year with 500 or so of their closest friends at San Francisco's Elbo Room. The show will cap off a monumental year for 20th Congress who in the last 12 months saw the theft of their trailer & equipment from a New Mexico motel parking lot, the release of their Fog City Records debut, Money Shot, and non-stop touring
with the likes of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Derek Trucks Band, and Soulive. Tickets to the event are $15.
Unsurprisingly, 20th Congress will begin 2001 on the road. Immediately after their New Year's celebration they hook up with eight-string guitar virtuoso Charlie Hunter for a string of West Coast dates and two shows in Colorado.
