SOULFARM ANNOUNCES 4-CITY 'JAM IF YOU CAN' HOLIDAY CRUSADE TO BENEFIT LOCAL FOOD BANKS Canned good donations to be collected at 5 East Coast club events

NEW YORK - SOULFARM, the exotically grooved guitar rock band formerly known as Inasense, has placed food banks in four East Coast cities on alert for the holiday season.

SOULFARM is closing the fall leg of its "Live @ Wetlands" tour and a remarkable year by launching the "JAM IF YOU CAN" HOLIDAY CRUSADE to help feed hungry people in Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Asbury Park, N.J. The band has made arrangements with club owners and food banks in each of these markets to collect and distribute canned goods from concertgoers during five special performances in December. At each show, patrons are being asked to bring just one can of food earmarked for their local food bank. In return, SOULFARM is offering $1 off admission price. The "JAM IF YOU CAN" HOLIDAY CRUSADE kicks off Dec. 13 at Zig's Bar & Grill in Alexandria, Va., and also ends there Dec. 30, making Washington D.C., the only market to host two of these benefits.

SOULFARM founding member and spiritual leader C Lanzbom sees the "JAM IF YOU CAN" HOLIDAY CRUSADE as another positive and extremely significant step in the band's newly heightened mission since dropping its old name and reinventing itself on the eve of the fall release of its Phoenix Presents debut CD, LIVE @ WETLANDS. In a sense, the "JAM IF YOU CAN" HOLIDAY CRUSADE defines much of the essense of SOULFARM.

"Ever since I picked up my instrument at a very young age, it's always been about healing," says Lanzbom. "When I play music, I want it to have a deeper meaning, as something that's worthwhile, so I can feel like I'm doing something positive for this world. `JAM IF YOU CAN' is another way we can contribute. It's about helping your fellow man. We want to give something back to the Earth. Ecology, having fun, feeling good, having compassion, bringing peace to the world and making it a better place. That's what SOULFARM is about."

SOULFARM decided to mount the crusade after hosting a hometown 'JAM IF YOU CAN' event in early November at Queens College in Flushing, N.Y., at the suggestion of a friend at the school. The response was so great that SOULFARM decided to devote the bulk of its holiday tour schedule to this worthy cause.

THE SOULFARM "JAM IF YOU CAN" HOLIDAY CRUSADE will be making the following stops:
