GOV'T MULE: FREE MO' VOODOO AND MORE

From Mule.net:

Warren Haynes & Gov't Mule :: Jammys 2005 :: By John Bahr
(New York, NY) -- Is It Déjà Voodoo All Over Again? Not quite. Mo' Voodoo compliments Gov't Mule's 2004 ATO Records release Déjà Voodoo, demonstrating yet another side to Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule. The EP contains two tracks penned by Mule leader Warren Haynes: "I'll Be The One" and "I Can't Be You." "I'll Be The One" has a May 16 radio add date. The remaining three tracks are "King's Highway" by Joe Henry, "My Oh My" by David Gray, and "Ballerina" by Van Morrison.

"Our fan base is so supportive we like to do things to continually give something back," says Haynes. The Deep End Vol. I & II both include "hidden treasure" bonus CD's. We've taken that tradition further by going in to the studio and recording five tracks that we are making available to our fans for free."

Mo' Voodoo will be available June 1st bundled with Déjà Voodoo. Fans that have already purchased Déjà Voodoo may access Mo' Voodoo tracks online utilizing Sony Connected technology. Fans insert their record into their computer and can access a "secret website" where special music content is located. Additional items will include photos, AIM buddy icons, and a live video of "Lola Leave Your Light On" filmed at The Orpheum in Boston October 15, 2004.

Gov't Mule has won the "Best Studio Album of the Year" Jammy Award for Déjà Voodoo. Between his awards with Gov't Mule and the Allman Brothers Band, Haynes has brought home more Jammy's than any other artist for the past two years.

Gov't Mule's "Voodoo Caravan Tour" kicks off in Boston June 3.
