At a Chicago press conference today, Lollapalooza made its initial lineup announcements. Slated to appear at the two-day festival in Chicago's Grant Park are Widespread Panic, Pixies, Weezer, Dinosaur Jr., the Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, Liz Phair, Arcade Fire, Dashboard Confessional, the Walkmen, Cake, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Sound Tribe Sector 9, The Bravery, Soulive, M83, the Black Keys, Dandy Warhols, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Blonde Redhead, Digable Planets, VHS or Beta, Tegan & Sara, Louis XIV, Ambulance LTD, and the Changes.

More artists are sure to be announce in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to for the announcements. A two-day pass to the event currently costs $85, plus shipping and service charges. Ticket prices will eventually increase to $100 and then to $115. So buy early and plan ahead for the return of Lollapalooza. For more information go to
