Vassar Clements |
Our dear friend, legendary fiddle player Vassar Clements, is seriously ill with aggressive small cell lung cancer and is currently on chemotherapy. He will, therefore, not be able to play at his 77th birthday celebration. Instead, AMD Entertainment is hosting a Vassar Clements Benefit Concert on April 23rd at Tribeca Rock Club in NYC to honor Vassar and all of the proceeds will go directly to him. Please join us in support of Vassar. We will ask all of our friends to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
The show will feature two Zen Tricksters sets with special friends Levon Helm (The Band), Buddy Cage (New Riders), Tony Trischka, Michael Falzarano (Hot Tuna), Bob Harris, Jimmy Fleming, J.C. Flyer, The Electrix, Stir Fried and more very special guests!
