Planet Bluegrass Presents The 32nd Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival
Every summer music lovers from around the globe make their loyal pilgrimage high into to the mountains of Colorado for the world-renowned Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Producers Planet Bluegrass are proud to announce that planning is well underway for this summer's 32nd Annual Festival.

With 17 Grammy's and 9 studio albums under her belt, Alison Krauss continues to raise the bar in an industry known for superb musicianship and truly thrilling live performances. Together with her band, Union Station, Krauss will set the Telluride stage for a weekend of exhilarating music. Among the other musicians confirmed at this time are Bluegrass patriarch and legendary banjo pioneer, Earl Scruggs, folk guitar virtuoso David Bromberg, and a powerhouse ensemble including country great Stanley Clarke, newgrass pioneer Bela Fleck and jazz violin luminary Jean-Luc Ponty.
Over the years, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival has developed a family of world-class musicians who will help shape the flavor of the weekend; the oft-proclaimed King of Telluride, Sam Bush, Peter Rowan, Tim O'Brien, and dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas, among others. For the newer generation of music lovers, Yonder Mountain String Band continue along a trail they have blazed themselves, and Phish bassist Mike Gordon will join acoustic finger style guitarist Leo Kottke- a meeting that is sure to inspire artists and audience alike.
To date the Telluride Bluegrass Festival will also include the John Butler Trio, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mountain Heart, The Wilders, King Wilkie and the Burnett Family. The full lineup will be released shortly.
Telluride Bluegrass is quintessentially Colorado; at times tinged with inspired calm, and moments later fueled by incomparable energy and inspiration. World-class live music notwithstanding, activities in and around Telluride include mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, numerous hot springs, riding the gondola, historic ghost towns and whatever else your sense of adventure shows you!
