The Everyone Orchestra is bringing its revolving lineup and awareness-raising efforts to Colorado for an explosive superjam at the Boulder Theater to benefit The Conscious Alliance on Friday, November 19.

The performance will feature groove-based, genre-bending collaborative music of Michael Travis of String Cheese Incident, Kai Eckhardt (John McLaughlin Trio, Garaj Mahal), Grammy nominated multi-instrumentalist Peter Apfelbaum, Jamie Janover, EO Founder Matt Butler, Liza Oxnard, ALO, Leslie Helpert, and Aaron Holstein of ZILLA, plus surprise guests.

Proceeds from the show will benefit The Conscious Alliance, a national non-profit organization that stages food drives at concerts, festivals, and athletic events to help feed the hungry in towns and Native American Indian reservations across the country.

As part of their holiday projects, The Conscious Alliance is asking fans to bring an unwrapped toy ($10 value and up) to the show in exchange for a poster by artist Michael Everett. The toys will go to the children of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.

The Everyone Orchestra is a revolving cast of musicians who come together to raise funds and awareness for local non-profits through performance of songs and improvisational music. Everyone Orchestra performances are unique in that they culminate in unpredictable segments featuring a conductor who directs both musicians and audience alike in interactive, lively, and highly danceable jams. The conductor for this show will be Boulder's Jamie Janover, who has conducted the Orchestra on stages from the Oregon Country Fair to San Francisco and back.

Throughout the performances, improvisational grooves are the underlying foundation and different players will be highlighted doing what they do best.

The mystery of the unknown keeps the musicians present and on their toes, making for the one-of-a-kind magical musical moments Everyone Orchestra has become known for.
