Mountain of Venus
Mountain of Venus has found its newest member. Jim Kost, formerly of the Steve Kimock Band, will be joining MOV beginning August 31 for a private party in Ironia, NJ and will take to the road with the band on a tour that will visit five festivals in four weeks.

Mountain of Venus has long been a fan of what Jim brought to SKB and had his name atop a short list of players they were considering when Jody Cohen decided to leave the band. After an intense audition in Fayetteville, AR, the band knew they had found a player capable of adding a new texture to their already dynamic music.

In the coming weeks, the new lineup will visit Virginia, Tennessee, and much more of the Southeast before returning to Arkansas in early October. The run includes slots at Mannerland III in Mebane, NC, Harvestfest in Lafayette, GA, The Gainesville Jam Festival in Gainesville, FL, The Big Spring Jam Festival in Huntsville, AL and The Great Unknown in Eureka Springs, AR. For the bands full tour schedule, check the bands official web site, MountainOfVenus.com.
