"Boisterously bewildering" certainly isn't the slogan of your average weekend rock festival, and organizers of The Great Bamboozle want you to know that theirs is anything but.
The three-day fest takes place June 4-6 at and around the The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, and features dozens of performers including G. Love & Special Sauce, moe., Galactic, Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, and My Morning Jacket.
Unlike most festivals and, well, concerts in general, The Great Bamboozle allows re-entry. The Asbury Park beaches will be open, with volleyball, frisbee contests and, of course, swimming.
Organizers promise "Good food for all diets and appetites," as well as beer and alcohol.
New additions this year include extra stages and an expanded vendor village including a trading post. Attendees are encouraged to bring their clothes, jewelry, collectibles, and any other wares and sharpen their bartering skills.
Tickets are $30 per day, with three-day passes available for $80.
