With rock and roll's six-headed beast Widespread Panic taking their first break in twenty years we offer you an up close and personal look at one of the greatest front men to ever grace a stage. John "JB" Bell has led Panic from their humble beginnings in the bars surrounding Athens, Georgia to Red Rocks, Oak Mountain and Bonnaroo. With eight studio albums, several live albums (with another on the way) and countless nights of inspirational music that has touched the lives of music fans world wide, JB has been the backbone of Widespread Panic. From the loss of founding member Michael Houser to the rebirth of the band with George McConnell, John Bell has led the charge every step of the way. While fans from across the globe await the return of their fearless leader JamBase's friend and wonderful photographer Fred Rice offers us a glimpse at the man, the myth, the legend. I give you John Bell:
