The Everyone Orchestra Core-tet will be making their Portland, OR debut live at the GoodFoot Lounge on Saturday, February 21. The Core-tet features a diverse array of genre-bending musical styles and instruments and is comprised of Everyone Orchestra founder Matt Butler (Jambay) on drums, didgeridoo, and vocals; Scott Law (Hanuman) on electric guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Asher Fulero (Surrounded by Ninjas) on keyboards and electronics; and Damian Erskine on bass. Special guest "conductor" Tye North will also join the band for an evening of exploratory musical collaboration and improvisation.

The Everyone Orchestra Core-tet serves as the house band for large scale Everyone Orchestra events and uses these smaller club dates to "workshop" conducted improvisation and collaboration in a more intimate setting. Past Everyone Orchestra events have included such luminaries as Steve Kimock, Derek Trucks, Michael Travis (String Cheese Incident), ekoostik hookah, Cyro Baptista (Trey Anastasio Band), and many more. The Core-tet is warming up for two large Everyone Orchestra events later this spring, with a lineup to be announced shortly.

Bringing artists together for grassroots benefit events, the Everyone Orchestra serves as a platform for intense improvisation and offers fans a chance to see their favorite artists play and jam in a setting like none other.
