Humboldt California's hometown heroes and national touring Home Grown Music Network act Nucleus will be flying home for their New Year's Eve performance at Six Rivers Brewery in Old Town Eureka, CA this NYE. The band has been touring consistently for the past three years and has recently been exclusively touring the east coast after relocating to Ithaca, New York. Having gone through a metamorphosis musically by stripping down to a power-trio this past fall, they have arrived at a new sound labeled recently by a reviewer as "maniacal dub-rock break-beat fusion."

The band has connected quickly with its new east coast audiences performing their energized and danceable improvisational sets of music. At years end the trio will return home to Eureka to play for the first time in eight months in front of their hometown audience and unveil their new sound. After an in-depth search for the correct venue, the band is set to take the stage at Six Rivers Brewery in Eureka this New Years Eve following an opening act who are local favorites Old Man Clemins. The show will kick off at 9pm and head into the wee hours on Jan. 1st, 2004. Expect special guests to join the band onstage and multiple musical surprises to arrive during the night.

Tickets are obtainable at the door for $10.00 and will be available at all local Eureka, Arcata, and McKinleyville ticketing outlets. Venue capacity is limited to 1000 so it is recommended you purchase your tix in advance.
