Guest, Ohio's most innovative and progressive jam/rock act, has just announced the addition of former Peach Melba lead guitarist, Brad Huffman. Brad's addition heralds the joining of forces of two of the most talented and popular jambands in Ohio. Originally hailing from Athens, Peach Melba has long been one Ohio's favorite bands and has hosted their own hugely successful annual summer festival called "The Peachtree Gathering" for five years running. Brad's melodic and expressive approach to the guitar will round out Guest's already stellar lineup and create an even thicker, more colorful band sound.
In addition to Guest having been invited to headline the 2nd stage at FARM AID 2003, which was a huge honor, the band was chosen as the subject of a full-length, feature film documentary, entitled A Guest To The Road, produced by L.A.'s Conceptual Media Group and film industry veteran Bakari Brock.
The producers are currently in the process of shopping the film, which chronicles the band's history and rise to prominence through interviews and live concert footage, to a number of independent distributors for national release as a DVD in early 2004.
Guest just announced that after selling out their last three New Year's Eve shows at Ruby Tuesday's in Columbus, Ohio, they will be moving on to a larger venue, with this year's show being hosted at Little Brothers in Columbus. More details are to be released soon on www.goguest.com.
In early 2004, Guest plans on hitting the road harder than ever, returning to all of their homes away from home throughout the East with ever-widening forays into the Upper Midwest, Great Plains and Mountain West. GO GUEST!!
