Rhythmic Storm Productions is proud to officially announce the 2nd Annual Harmonic
Convergence Festival. which takes place on October 3rd through October
5th, 2003 in North Carolina. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on the Day out
of Time, July 25th. The festival is building on the momentum of its first
year, and the positive feedback we have received is incredible.
The Harmonic Convergence Festival will be held once again at the gorgeous Deerfield's
Amphitheater, in Asheville, NC. Deerfields is 940 acres of truly majestic Appalachian
terrain. The festival site is a nature lover's dream, containing two fresh water
ponds, streams, shaded camp sites, beautiful apple orchards, hiking trails that
lead right into the Pisgah National Forest, and it happens to be located 10
miles from the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). The Appalachian Mountains Region
will be in all its beauty of early fall, the temperature should be just right.
For those who have never experienced Deerfields, we highly recommend checking
it out at www.Deerfields.com.

HCF has assembled a world-class line-up of artists to perform this year. We
will be heavily diversifying the music selection in the hopes of meeting, and
going, beyond all expectations. We see the variety of music as a way to expose
each person to at least one artist that they have not seen or are not familiar
with. The always evolving Sound Tribe Sector 9 will be headlining Friday
and Saturday evening. Sunday evening, North Carolina's very own Acoustic Syndicate
will be playing a late afternoon picnic show to wrap up the weekend. There will
be more than enough talent to keep everyone stimulated through out the weekend.
Other performers include: LTJ Bukem, Burning Spear, Garaj Mahal, GFE, Drums and Tuba, DJ Makoto, Shelley D, Strut, Basement, Dub Conscious, Breeze Evaflowin,
and many more.
While the festival definitely focuses on the music, there are many other attractions
as well. There will be a sacred space devoted to spreading the knowledge of
the Mayan 13 moon calendar. There will be a green space area with information
booths featuring yoga, alternative energy sources, alternative building methods,
and more. The Harmonic Convergence Festival will also be family friendly, with
music and activities for the kids such as large puppet displays, a kids parade,
and even a children's show to take place Saturday morning.
Come take advantage of this unique festival experience, and join us for a captivating
event on the weekend of October 3rd-5th in the beautiful mountains of western North
Carolina. Tickets are limited, hope to see you there!
