SPECIAL GUESTS ADDED TO X-MAS JAM

* Warren Haynes has announced the creation of a one time only band to perform at this years X-Mas Jam. Bob Weir and Friends will consist of Bob Weir, Warren Haynes, Dave Schools, Rob Barraco & John Molo. Allways a special night, it seems to just keep getting better.

Two things are certain when it comes to the holidays. One is the arrival of the cold weather, the second is the announcement of the annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam. Each year the Gov’t Mule/Allman Brothers guitarist extraordinaire gathers the cream of the crop to display the wide-ranging musical talent that's out there today. As always the Christmas Jam is a benefit concert, and will be held at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC on the 21st of December.

Now in its 14th year, the Christmas Jam has become a part of the holiday season for many in the South. Years ago at a small club in Asheville (45 Cherry St.), Warren and several other local musicians began to play together when they were all home for the holidays, the group decided to donate all proceeds to local charities. Over the years, organizations supporting Vietnam Veterans, AIDS charities and homeless relief groups have all benefited from the concert. About five years ago the group found a permanent recipient in Habitat for Humanity. Started as a way to give back to the community that fostered so many musicians, the Christmas Jam's goal is to take something that is free, like time, energy and music, and create a lasting impact while spreading a positive message of music and caring.

Over the last 14 years, musicians from all walks of life have joined Warren onstage. Past performers have included Toy Caldwell (Marshall Tucker Band), Bobby Keys (Rolling Stones sax player) and the late, great Allen Woody (Gov’t Mule), as well as Phil & Friends, the Allman Brothers Band, Blues Traveler, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Dave Schools (Widespread Panic) and Colonel Bruce Hampton.

This year's performers add to the growing legacy of the event. They include Gov't Mule, John Hiatt & The Goners, moe., Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Bob Weir, and very special guests Rob Barraco, DJ Logic, Jerry Joseph, Kevin Kinney, John Molo, Edwin McCain and Dave Schools.

Pre-sale tickets for this event are available now at MuleTicketing. They will go on-sale through Ticketmaster outlets, Online, and Phone sale on Saturday 11/23 @ 10AM EST.
