The Takeover: A Club Wide Night of Improv curated by Eric Krasno, Casey Benjamin, James Hurt, Jacques Schwarz-Bart
New York City's fabled haunt The Knitting Factory is being rampaged this Sunday, July 28th, by some of the fiercest musicians around. With Eric Krasno, James Hurt, Casey Benjamin and Jacques Schwarz-Bart serving as our ringmasters for the evening, you can only imagine how wild and funky this three floor circus is going to be. By replacing the elephants and bearded ladies with cats like DJ Logic, Baba, members of Soulive, Topaz, and Lettuce among others, we're guaranteed something to ooh and aah at.
It's The Takeover, plain and simple. 3 Floors, 40 musicians, and only $10 at the door. ($8 for those of you who are as excited as I am, and grab those tickets early.)
It's going to be one hell of a night, and if you didn't make it, your friends that got to groove their hearts out will make you wish that you did. So save yourself some grief and be at the Knitting Factory at 8 pm. And leave the cotton candy at home... the show will be so sweet, you won't even miss it. Bring your Velour.
