Biscuits are pleased to announce the relocation of their two biggest
events of the summer, Camp Bisco III: Señor Boombox and Bisco
Nights. Señor Boombox, to be held August 23rd and 24th, was forced
to leave Wilmer’s Park in Brandywine, MD when Prince George’s County
officials reinterpreted the zoning ordinances governing the park and
decided not to allow music festivals at Wilmer’s. Fortunately, the band
Productions were able to find a new and better home for Camp Bisco
III at the 130 acre Salansky Farms in beautiful Union Dale, Pennsylvania.
The convenient location, a mere 150 miles from both Philadelphia and
New York City, boasts both wooded and field camping areas, a natural
amphitheatre for music and no musical curfew. The line-up (which
features Alex Patterson of the Orb for 2 DJ sets, The New Deal, Lake Trout, DJ Logic, Dr. Didg, Particle, The Motet, Brothers Past, the Ally, Moonraker, DJ Seishi and
more) and dates of the event will remain the same.
Tickets are available at JamBas
Bisco Nights has moved to the Tussey Mountain Amphitheatre in
Boalsburg, PA, just minutes from State College. Nestled in the beautiful
rolling hills of Central Pennsylvania, the ski mountain has an ideal concert
area, and has hosted legendary performers ranging from Bob Dylan to
Jefferson Starship, and Govt. Mule to your very own, The Disco Biscuits.
Performing at the festival will be The Biscuits, Electron, the Cookie
Dusters, the Ally, Brothers Past, and Psychedelic Breakfast. At the base of
the mountain is the Tussey Mountain Family Fun Park; the park boasts a
wide range of amenities that will be available to Bisco, including a skate
park, batting cages, Go-Karts and a Par-3 golf course and driving range.
The move was made, when in a sporting mood, The Disco Biscuits
decided to unveil their first annual BiscOlympics at Nights. The event will
take place on the afternoon of Wednesday August 7th at the Tussey
Mountain Family Fun Center. A full on color war will ensue with
competition in areas including, but not limited to, long drive competition,
3-par pitch and putt tourney, Go-Kart racing, skate-board/roller-blading
competition, Tug-O-War, and batting competition. Enrollment in the
Olympics is free of charge with a Bisco Nights ticket, but limited spaces
are available. Please e-mail BiscOlympics@discobiscuits.com for
enrollment, you must include your Bisco Tix confirmation number in the
text of your e-mail. Please specify your experience level in
skateboarding/roller-blading and golf. You will be placed on an
appropriate team based on experience level. The winning team will
receive copies of Señor Boombox (the new Megaforce Records release
which will be in stores September 17th), Bisco Lives II (a limited release
due in stores on July 30th), and tickets to Camp Bisco III.
