SPANKIN IT IN CONNECTICUT

The incestuous jam scene has spawned yet another love child and that offspring will now (and forever more) be known as SPANK! The band was conceived on a velour couch, in a seedy, psuedo-nouveau motel on the wrong side of San Francisco, and can only be described as the musical equivalent of that which is its namesake.

SPANK! features Ron Levy on organ and bass pedals. In addition to Ron Levy's Wild Kingdom Ron recently co-wrote and performed several cuts on Karl Denson's latest release Dance Lesson #2. Deep Banana Blackout's own Eric Kalb, who also lays down the seminal grooves on John Scofield's BUMP, will be on drums. And Fuzz, DBB's slamming guitar virtuoso whose credits also include the groovejazz side project On The Corner(with FUZZ)-B'Gock! as well as DJ Logic's classic album Project Logic will be holding down guitar duties.

SPANK! will be playing December 20, 2001 at The Colorado Brewery & Trading Co, located at 6 Delay St in Danbury, CT. This show is 21+, $10, and doors are at 9:00PM. Call 203-791-1450 for more details. You will not want to miss the new project that will rip Connecticut into shreds!! Keep checking back here and at Ron Levy's Website for more to come in January and February!
