not sure i get what you're trying to say superkicker. that jambase shouldn't report on all things that are not dead, biscuits or umphreys? nightmare before xmas always brings some top notch shiz.

I hate myself for not making it to the UK to see Mars Volta curate this back in '05. My Bloody Valentine's albums are sweet, not sure if the band should still be around though.

if you haven't seen my bloody valentine live, your opinion means nothing! one of the loudest, most intense shows ever, not as surgical as tool but just overwhelming sensory overload. like it or not, kevin shields is as much a 'guitar god' as jerry garcia, the soundstorms he creates even with an acoustic's unreal, so much reverb you can curl up in it and go to sleep. they're shoegaze, noise-rock, they can't even be compared to jambands like the dead except for the fact that these guys can melt face!

You are a close minded idiot. There is more out there than the Dead. Every member of the Dead most likely listen to more genres than just one, you can see it in their songs (jazz, country, bluegrass, rock etc.)This is a pretty diverse little line-up- jazz, hip hop, rock and all of them are solid acts. Open up people.

fuck that. De la Soul is sick. But more importantly, I love "jam music" i am more interested in electronic, house, downtempto, psy, BUT If anyone who has any knowledge of musical talent were to listen to a solid, live 20+ minute version of the Diamond Sea by Sonic Youth it would absolutely blow your mind. My Bloody Valentine is also some pretty good stuff just because there arent flat brimmed hats with dreadlocks poking out every side doesnt mean you cant take your own stash and make My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth worth every dollar you spend, that is unless they turn into "experimental noise rock gurus further expanind the bridges of sound and opening new doors to what one can do with the ability to manipulate sound." Wow. Yes. This. Was. Not. Sober.
