It's a shame that the one year I have the capitol to get to this festival they don't have a good enough lineup to get me there.

This line-up is on par with the best 10,000 lakes festivals... I was hoping for a grateful dead band to be there or DSO or something... Ratdog, Phil Lesh, but that is okay... Atmosphere is sweet, if you dig rap... Ozomatli I have never heard of... But, for two nights of WSP, I am not sure how any true jam fan could complain... but to each their own! Way to go Jambase for having this news out there right after they sent out the e-mail!!!

Slug & Ant making an appearence for their home state. Cool, cool. Great line up over all this year. I still would have loved to see a moe., Mule, or Galactic sighting this year, but you can't always get what you want. I've been to 10klf every year except last year. The best year in my book was '05, the last time Panic was there. The vibe was so much more energetic at night. The past couple of years have had good lineups, but been just dead at night. I'm really hoping for the best this year, with the Spreadheads returning. The kiddies might not show up until the last night for DMB, when many people are packing it in. Can't wait. One of many great festivals this summer. Happy camping to all!

I agree that 2007 was pretty sweet. But nothing can beat two nights of WSP... and Wilco puts on a great live set, they are one of my favorite bands, so I am happy.... In a Big Country, have you seen Wilco? Everyone has a right to like what they like, but they are pretty palatable for most people... Here is a list of all of the additions, Atmosphere, Ozomatli, The Parlor Mob, Carney, Big Gigantic, Steez... I dont know anyone but Atmosphere.. but I am excited.. I have my VIP!!!! JB and Schools in the northwoods again!

What a sad and whiney lot of people are on here commenting. Every single year, people talked about "terrible" the lineup is for 10klf. "Not Trey again!" "More Dead?" blah blah... Fact remains that Akron/Family alone make this festie worthwhile....add in Whitmore, Ozo, WSP (x2) and Atmosphere??? C'mon! That's GREAT stuff!!! Naysayers don't have to go. I for one will be there dancing my tail off.

My 2 cents: i thought last 10klf was a weak lineup and had a blast. Gonna be easier to get around 10klf than roth, roo or waka.... thats gotta be worth something. Check out the Kimock/Seals project that will surly bust out a little JGB. If you have not seen melvin recently...you will be happy. Who ever complained above about no DEAD should def go see melvin and kimock, melvin still tours playing JGB and they kill it. JGB vibes are the best in my book. Even better than Cheese, which are pretty damn also too!

Toaster... one of my complaints was the lack of the dead... Jerry Garcia Band is JGB, not a grateful dead band... I was talking about the fact that there is no DSO, Ratdog, Dead or PL & F... they are completely different than kimock and co...

I used to be so jealous that this festival was out of my range and affordability. This year the line-up doesn't even come close to past 10k line ups. Dave Matthews as a headliner? What is this Rothbury?? Hope they step it up again next year.

i am absolutely thrilled to be attending this festival... it's going to be so much fun, and the music is without a doubt stellar. the price, the location, the people, and the great bands make this an easy choice.

Love the diversity, not real jam heavy but has some real gems in the line up like, Akron/Family, PrettyLights, Ozomatli and Pert Near Sandstone.

Anyone have a guess on what the main stage opener and late night schedules may look like? PANIC IN THE WOODS!
