For the Lil' Ones, Sippy Cups: "Day After Halloween" Vid

The Sippy Cups: New EP, "The Day After Halloween" Video

The Sippy Cups release a new EP this week entitled One Day Soon. It is available now from the iTunes Music Store. In honor of the holiday, a video for "The Day After Halloween," directed by acclaimed Bay Area filmmaker Danny Plotnick, is available now:

One Day Soon includes material from the band's upcoming album THE TIME MACHINE, planned for an early 2009 release, as well as extras. Featured on the EP are new songs "One Day Soon," "The Day After Halloween," "Ladybug Beat," "Effervescing Elephant" (a Syd Barrett cover), and "Listen with Your Eyes."

Just three years after the band began, The Sippy Cups have grown from their Bay Area roots into a nationwide phenomenon. Their first full-length original CD, ELECTRIC STORYLAND, garnered widespread critical acclaim and was ranked #6 for the year in the 2006 Fids & Kamily Music Awards. This was followed by the 2007 release of a live concert DVD, ELECTRIC STORYLAND, LIVE AT THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL, recent winner of a 2008 Parents Choice award. The band has brought its acclaimed live show, including colorful costumes, an array of characters and sometimes acrobats and aerialists, to major concert halls and festivals across the country including Symphony Space in New York City and the Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza festivals.

you all are aware that the sippy cups is a children's band right? The music (and this vid) are designed for like 3-12 year olds - and i think in this case for parent's of 3-12 year olds.

that makes sense, guess i was thrown off by the story being on jambase and all. I agree that jambase doesnt have to be about my fav jam band and broadening horizons is a great idea, especially musically but come on. Hey jambase when is Barney and his band of dinos and kiddies getting back together?

freedom of linguistics and freedom from stereotypes.

That being said, did anybody look at the picture of "lovejahlive" and read his comment "it's cute" and just chuckle thoroughly?

i mean this all in the most friendly way, so in a sense you could say this is a cute remark also.
