This is some of the most useful inspired art Jambase has ever published. Aside from concert reviews, tributes to passed gone musical heroes, lame arguments between who's better and who's best the Biscuits or Phish or God Street Wine, or whatever happened to the Spin Doctors, or questions arising between such subjects as "Why was John Popper driving around with weapons in his automobile" or Jambase readers asking questions about whether heavy metal or goth or rap music should arise on the Jambase site, or ego-tistical comments such as "I've seen Phish and Phil and Jerry so many times that I am their BIGGEST fan" or tour schedules posted by the Jambase office staff weeks after the bands let out the news on their own websites, or the largest question on long time Jambase users being "What Ever Happened To Andy Gaidel??" Or all the festival links aiding everyone in deciding which link has the most artful advertisement enabling everyone an ease at deciding which fest is gonna' be the best, or every person mentioning that they do or don not like 'Custy's' or 'wookies' or 'jamheads' or 'rattails' or 'gobbly-gook-tales about scary dark passageways through inner demensional orbits accumulating dust splattering all up out there into the air reaching levels of bass shaking the rumbling walls of the room and then..... BooM. knowing it will all happen soon. Like Now. And Now. And Someone, Somewhere in the World is Playing some Really Good Music Right NOW...

It was cool to see this... what was even more enjoyable for me was seeing Shelly's name and then realizing that it was a very old post from I did some searching and found posts that I made on back in early '92. I've never really thought about how many years I've been into the band but then you read a post that you submitted over 16 years ago and it's kind of strange to read... hmmm... like being "The Man Who stepped Into Yesterday..." stuff long forgotten but suddenly there again... can you say flashback....

Phish's keyboard player is named Page?? Just kidding....thanks for the links. TMWSIY was what really connected me with phish. I wish there was a better copy of that original flying around. It really showcases early phish, showing how much they changed and grew together as musicians. They would not be who they are without eachother.

Bu t baby dady want to go see the awesome improvisers again after 5 years. It was nice being turned away from coventry. Would be cool to see the boys again. Wow, talk about an inspiring paper, I've played guitar for 12 years and consider myself pretty good but I for sure never had the drive to study and to progress both my physical playing and my spritual/mental approach to playing like Page has described. I wonder what peice he was talking about that Trey wrote. you think that was Fluffhead or YEM or what?
