Cradle of Filth New Album/Tour

Where do you get those threads?
Cradle of Filth will make their much anticipated return to U.S. soil this winter for their first headline tour since the Viva La Bands tour in fall 2007. The band will be spreading their black metal seed, supporting Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder, their latest opus for Roadrunner Records. Satyricon will serve as main support, while Greek metallers Septic Flesh will open the show. The tour runs for six weeks.

With Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder, which hits stores on October 28, the band spins a dark and twisted fairy tale about disgraced and disturbed French nobleman Gilles de Rais. The album is the thunderously fast and brutal soundtrack set to historical events and Cradle of Filth will be sure to delight the black metallites by playing selections from the new album during the tour.

Even black metal fans hate them! What do you expect to hear from Jambase?

Eric Cartman used metal to clear out the hippy festival from south park... I like that jambase includes articles about jam music and then music that jam minded people might enjoy; Andrew Bird and The Mars Volta to name my two favorite... The line should be drawn at black metal. What the fuck are you trying to do jambase?

"next week look for our Swedish death metal friends and find out some of there interesting contribution and inspirations from the jam band community"

I like all kinds of music but as many of us have said before I dont come to this sight for information about those bands... especially when there style of music is this far removed from the jam band scene

I'm all for different kinds of music. Tool is one of my favorite bands as well as NIN, but this is rediculous. Why is there an article about this band on JB? This band is awful and I really am in awe that this would be reported on here. I'm am dissapointed.

Ahh cradle of filth. My buddy from work is a diehard fan of these guys. I've listened to them, but definitely not my style. Though I might go check them out at the palladium just for the experience. Life is all about experiences.

I like how jambsse still has those lame ass community guidelines yet has the nerve to post a blurb about a band that has been linked to homophobia, racism, and hate crimes.

How about a story on the Sodomite Demons of Ja-Buh-Lon's Avenging Pentacular Ascendance of Hell's Dawning Glory? I think it's ridiculous how frequently people misspell ridiculous.

it's not true black metal. vampire clothes wearing faggotry. gorgoroth will swallow them into the depths of abysmal darkness and cold, frostbitten despair. their mothers will weep at the unmerciful memories of their poor, vampire vag children who pretended to play metal but also wore top hats, capes, lipstick and other faggotry. may thor's mighty girth penetrate them in utter hatred and ruin as ancient northern runemagik rains pestilence upon them, dark as the nights of ragnarök. Æsir, hear my call! odin, du unbesiegbar geiler gott, mach das diese verfluchte wichser in ewiger finsternis voller angst und gram verrecken. may the heathen gods have no mercy on them, an odin!

Jambase, I usually love your metal tastes. I mean c'mon Opeth, High on fire, shit like that is fucking great metal music but Cradle of Filth are just horrible. They're a disgrace to black metal almost like Dimmu Borgir who are no where near true kvlt black metal anymore. This music is the dirty, unclean asshole of metal music and is what is bringing this genre down

oh come on now metal music brings itself down. it might be cool for 5 minutes or so, but when the next 5 minutes sounds exactly like the last... lets just say theres not much more that can be done with 'metal' without having to include other genres in its title.

I'm almost always all for any article Jambase wants to post, but come on. Cradle of Filth? Feel free to post whatever you like, I am but a loyal patron. But what did you expect? Positive comments? Just want hits, regardless of the intent?

I am genuinely curious about the thought process involved in posting this article.

Swedish death metal bands are not known to burn down churches. That's early black metal groups (i.e. Mayhem, Emperor)

cradle of filth is a great band, almost as good as Pieces of Shit.

Mutilated Trips

I think that guy in the picture wears those rings to thrash into the flesh of virgins and use their blood as sacrament in his necrophilia based rituals of fuckinghorriblebullshitedness and then birth the unborn dead into his cradle of filth, which is basically a cradle that he uses as a training toilet for all the love children he has with his all the corpses he fucks. This band are a bunch of fucking nonsense. If jambase can put an article supporting these taints on their website, I can now ignore the community guidelines and praise ----- hate, racism, violence, and of course corpse fucking. Finally.

January 26 – First Avenue – Loop Station, MN <<< ??WTF?? Minneapolis? Nevermind

I'm not one to comment frequently, but this is a new low. let me know if Tool is touring but let bad music lie. I though i hit the wrong bookmark when i saw this article.

I'm all about expanding horizons but listening to music takes time, and i hate waisting time.
