We've been waiting for a festival like this for a long time here in Jackson. Looks like a solid start to what will hopefully turn into a successful annual event. The word on the street here is that Neil Young will be added to the first day...

Looks like a great time, definitely worth the money. I wonder if Jay Farrar will do any songs with Wilco.

More Festivals, more shows, more music, bring down the price, the more the better.

ya there is no way farrar will even bypass tweedy at this festival... they despise one another... very unfortunate... uncle tupelo was an incredible band... miss them very much... but hey at least we have my morning jacket!

just wondering, why do people seem to get so enraged at the amount of festivals there are this summer. should it be considered solid??

ACL to Rothbury to who cares. . I forgot to thank you earlier for letting me know about the Beck album, One Foot in the grave. . please man the album came out over ten years ago. I have put up with your pretentious crap on all of these threads for some time. How sweet, you have a pic of Jerry playing banjo; that does not give you the authority to berate every band you do not like. I think it is hilarious that someone who has CSI as one of their favorite shows on TV says Wilco blows. Wilco, Black Crowes, and MMW, etc for $110; sounds nice. I don't think this will stay up long but man, get off of your high horse.

^ Ignore the prick. He goes away quick enough and returns with a new handle. Such a looser.

Jay and Jeff had a very strange falling out. Way beyond he typical R+R pissing match. And that Jeff became such a fantastic songwriter while Jay is stuck in 1989 doesn't help. Jeff knowing how talented he is and running the show for 15 years is no help either.

Anyone who's up on the scene can clearly see that there are a shit ton of festivals going on this summer. What I don't get though is why the ticket prices are mostly going up from last year. Shouldn't simple economics apply to the festival scene? I blame gas prices, greedy promoters, etc.

seems a bit pricey for a two day event.

Hey Morgan1973, didn't I see you passed out at the Mangy Moose with your head in the toilet?

regardless of how many festivals may be going on this summer around the country, this is a pretty big deal for those of us in Jackson. We are in a pretty remote location and its always a big deal to us when touring bands of any size visit us. That bands as big as these are all coming here is AMAZING for us. can't wait to see whose gonna round out the lineup.

Lived in NW Arkansas, got to see shows.

Moved to northern Rockies (sweet but no shows).

Thanks for the for the first festival in so long. Wilco and Son Volt will be cool, for sure. But I'm headed down for the Avetts. Tetons and Avetts is sort of too cool.

WTF?! $130 for a 2 day pass?! Yea...a couple awesome bands...but this ain't Vegoose/Langerado/or Jazz Fest...life in JHole is already too expensive.
