Before Keller Williams hits the road this summer, he'll release a live, February 8, 2006 Grateful Grass performance. The digital only release, titled REX (Live at the Fillmore), will be available beginning April 29, 2008. Grateful Grass - which featured Williams, Keith Moseley (The String Cheese Incident), and Jeff Austin (Yonder Mountain String Band) - performed not-so-traditional bluegrass versions of Grateful Dead favorites one winter night in Denver. The vibe in the packed house was thick and sweet; the crowd was whisper quiet, when they weren't singing along. 100% of the proceeds from REX (Live at the Fillmore) will go to benefit The Rex Foundation, the charitable non-profit started by the Grateful Dead which gives grants to worthwhile causes.

REX Track List:
01 One More Saturday Night
02 Mississippi Half Step Uptown Toodeloo
03 Eyes Of The World
04 Candyman
05 Loose Lucy
06 Black Peter
07 St. Stephen
08 Casey Jones
09 Brown Eyed Women
10 Bird Song
11 Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain

I with you liberals, Keller Williams Incident would be fucking awsome at Rothbury. Saw them at 10klf in 06 and it was sweeeet! Too many posts in one thread GlassWorks. But I agree with you, Dan is not the man, Dan is a Dork. Keller is the man!!!!

Grateful Red

Jets lost their swagger way longer than 3 years ago!!! Pine Mtn. in the summer, under the stars, with both Keller and Yonder...oh what an end to July it will be!!! And Dan, come on, interpreting the Dead's tunes with sweet ass bluegrass picking is a "stinging insult" to the Dead. You are a big dork face.

Keller lost his swagger three years ago my ass. Keller at All Good 07 and 06 were absolutely incredible shows. Not many can stroke an acoustic like Mr. Williams.

Years ago a friend made me a compilation disc of Keller's Dead covers. It was a lot of fun to listen to. I'm glad I'll have an opportunity to purchase one of better audio quality. Keller does some great interpretations of the Dead and at the same time he is very capable of putting on a very accurate tribute immitation as well. Honestly I have enjoyed Keller and the Keels far more than any rendition of his performances. I enjoy them all, I just really find him best when he was playing with the Keels.

Dude, Keller rocks...and as for those of you say he's lost his swagger--you obviously weren't in Jamaica for Caribbean Holidaze last year! It's where "Keller got his groove back."

I love to hear him play Dead songs, this album is going to be great! I am really excited to see him at Delfest and All Good; my only wish is that he would come back to Jamaica this year :(

Red Rocks should be the night before, both Yonder and Keller will be playing in Boulder in separate venues...YMSB at the Boulder Theater, and Keller at the Fox.

I would imagine that Keller would be opening for YMSB....Couldn't imagine how anti-climatic it would be if Yonder played first...that would just be a shame

Once again no Keller in Idaho...maybe the boys in Yonder will enlighten him as to how much fun Boise shows can be.

Anti-climactic, maybe for you. I caught Keller on the Acoustic Planet tour a couple years ago. He was with Bela and YMSB. All three were great shows but Keller was the draw for me.

Smittea you are SOOOOO RIGHT!!!! Keller and the Keels are the best Keller shows I'ver seen in a long time and we've been checking him out for almost 10 years! Their performance at Allgood made my night last year, fun,fun fun...

That show they are releasing the Greatful Grass from was actually April 8th not Feburary 8th. Glad to see Keller back in Colorado by himself though.. I like the solo shows too!

is this the grateful grass show from a few years ago when it was grateful grass ---> that band with schools and jerry joseph (which is ok, not wonderful) and then keller himself headlined? if so I was there and it was sick. wmds are awsome...... but is it me or is gibb droll just not that sweet. Not trying to flame I am just curious what other people think of him. Feel like kw could have gotten so many better people for gtr duties
