There is clearly no rest for the Steve Kimock Band. Following the departure of longtime bass player Bobby Vega, Kimock presses on this summer for a variety of musical pursuits with new bass players from around the country.

On August 10th & 11th, The Steve Kimock Band will be at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA joined by bass player James Genus (Saturday Night Live Band), Rodney Holmes and Mitch Stein.

Steve Kimock has been added to the line-up of the Rolling Summer Festival in Huntsville, Utah on August 26th (approx. 90 miles North of Salt Lake City). He will perform with Jerry Joseph & the Jackmormons and John Bell of Widespread Panic. Steve & Jerry reunite on stage...it's been more than a decade since they toured together in Little Women, and you bet they are looking forward to it!

SKB welcomes Alfonso Johnson (Weather Report, Jazz is Dead) on bass for the Hog Farm Pignic on Sept 1st and 2nd. Both Steve and Rodney have performed with Alfonso in various groups (ie. The Other Ones, Wayne Shorter, etc.).

Kimock is clearly determined to continue his tonal pursuits as new musicians from around the country collaborate to achieve the ultimate groove. Visit kimock.com for more information!
