Since 1977, Telluride’s majestic perch - high in the spectacular San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado - has been the site of an annual cultural event produced by the Telluride Society for Jazz combining the finest in nature and art. The 2008 Telluride Jazz Celebration will take place June 5-8. This year's festivities coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Telluride Balloon Festival.

McCoy Tyner is a living legend. Not sure if Liberals was trying to insult him or not, but he's the man. Played with Coltrane on the Love Supreme sessions. This lineup is outstanding, if I didn't go to school in Maine I would consider making the trip.

Great lineup! This year should be great because of the talent as well as the fact that it was moved to June. No September rains and muddy Town Park WooooHoooo!
