Australian rock guitarist Courtney Barnett has been garnering critical attention in response to her impressive debut album, Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit which was released earlier this year. Today the Aussie guitarist and her band appeared on CBS This Morning, performing three songs as part of the show’s Saturday Sessions series.
.CBS This Morning host Anthony Mason interviewed Barnett about the attention her LP is getting, her dealing with anxiety attacks, stage fright and more. Barnett – who opened for Blur last night at Madison Square Garden and will do so again tonight – was backed by drummer Dave Mudie and bassist Bones Sloane for a live in-studio set featuring two songs from Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit and a third from her second EP.
