Brooklyn Is Dead | Grateful Dead Tribute At Brooklyn Bowl

Next Tuesday, February 10, Brooklyn Bowl will host an event called “Brooklyn Is Dead” featuring Alex Bleeker & The Freaks and a slew of special guests. The concert will not only pay tribute to the Grateful Dead, it’s also a celebration of Relix Magazine’s 40th anniversary.

Today, Relix has revealed guitarist Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Soulive) has been added to a list of guests expected at Brooklyn Is Dead that already included Joe Russo, Cass McCombs, Dave Harrington (Darkside), Will Epstein (High Water), Jarvis Taveniere (Woods) and Patti Smith Groups’ Lenny Kaye. Bleeker is Real Estate’s bassist and has never hidden his love of the jam scene and continues to break down the indie/jam divide as part of events like Brooklyn Is Dead.
