AC/DC Singer Says Band Very Likely To Tour

Back in April, the future looked bleak for hard rockers AC/DC. Rumors were swirling down in Australia that the band was on the verge of announcing their retirement due to Malcolm Young's health issues. In the days that followed AC/DC did announce Malcolm was taking a break from the group, but that the band would continue on. Today, there's reason for AC/DC fans to get excited about the prospect of seeing the Aussie rockers again.

Lead singer Brian Johnson posted a message on his website saying that he was taking time off from his Cars That Rock television show to focus on his day job with AC/DC. "We hope to bring you more shows in the near future but, of course, there is the slight distraction of my day job with AC/DC – and it looks very likely that we will be on the road again before the end of the year. So stand by for more music – and more Cars That Rock," Johnson wrote.

In May the group met up in Vancouver to work on their next record. We're thinking that process went well from Brian's note and hope the announcement of an AC/DC tour will come soon.
