Summer Camp Music Festival :: 5.25.14 :: Three Sisters Park :: Chillicothe, IL

The 14th installment of Summer Camp at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL came to its conclusion on Sunday. Zac Brown Band treated fans to two sets, one of which focused on covers such as "Comfortably Numb" (featuring Jake Cinninger), "Use Me," "Midnight Rider," "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" and "Runnin' Down A Dream." Zac Brown also turned up at moe.'s second of two sets for a cover of "The Weight" by The Band. moe. returned the favor from Saturday by welcoming Umphrey's for a full band switch. UM used their time on moe.'s stage to perform "Puppet String." In addition, moe. debuted the Rob Derhak originals "The Pines And The Apple Trees" and "Caliphornya" and jammed with Allie Kral and Jason Barady on "Waiting For The Punchline" yesterday.

Unlike last year, Trey Anastasio and TAB's two sets at Summer Camp went off without a hitch. TAB performed material from nearly every era of the group's 15 year run, including one of the songs debuted on Friday, and encored with a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog." The Everyone Orchestra's "Make a Difference" set in the Red Barn had an all-star cast made up of Joel Cummins, Mike Dillon, Fareed Haque, Allie Kral, former STS9 bassist David Murphy and Al Schnier & Vinnie Amico with Floodwood bandmates Jason Barady & Nick Piccininni. Umphrey's late night set in The Barn saw the group welcome manager Vince Iwinski for a debut cover of Billy Squier's "The Stroke" and saw Allie Kral sit in on "Gulfstream" and a debut cover of The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony." The Wood Brothers, Blackberry Smoke, Yonder Mountain String Band and Mountain Standard Time were among the other bands to perform at the final day of this year's Summer Camp Music Festival.
